RESULTS OF THE KAZAKHSTAN HEALTHCARE DAYS IN ASTANA: OVER 60 COMPANIES FROM 5 COUNTRIES, 2 INDUSTRY FORUMS AND 6 SEMINARS, ABOUT 1,000 VISITORS FROM AMONG THE PROFESSIONAL AUDIENCE.
On October 28, the metropolitan expo platforms in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals completed their work: the 18th Kazakhstan International Healthcare Exhibition - Astana Zdorovie 2022 and the 1st Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Equipment, Raw Materials and Technologies for Pharmaceutical Industry” - PharmaTECH Kazakhstan 2022.
The combined exposition of the exhibitions has again become a platform for demonstrating the latest medical devices and equipment, consumables, goods of medical purpose and medical services, laboratory equipment, pharmaceuticals and medicines.
63 companies from Belarus, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey became exhibitors in 2022. The Omsk region of Russia was represented by a collective stand. The development of the pharmaceutical and medical industries in Kazakhstan is evidenced by the representation of domestic companies at the exhibition, which is more than 50% of the total number of participants. Such Kazakhstani companies as Ordamed, BTL Kazakhstan, Dolce, Oasis Group Distribution, QMP Qazmedpribor, Viva Pharm, Dos Orthopedia, Medical Service Kazakhstan, MEDRUG presented their stands. Fresenius KABI /MPA Medical Partners, Registrarius, Viva Pharm, Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Karaganda Pharmaceutical Complex, Mediana-Filter, Eikos-Pharm, Exon and others became participants of the PharmaTECH Kazakhstan 2022 exhibition.
During the three days of the exhibition, industry specialists were able to get acquainted with manufacturers and suppliers of medical, laboratory, diagnostic equipment and technology, consumables, surgical instruments, immunobiological, biopharmaceutical and medicinal preparations, dietary supplements, hygiene products, integrated water treatment and wastewater treatment systems for pharmaceutical industry, experts in pharmacovigilance and price registration, and others.
The official opening ceremony of the exhibitions was attended by A. Giniyat, the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, V.Yu. Dudnik, the Vice Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ye.S. Iskaliyev, the Chairman of the Management Board of SK-Pharmacy LLP, N.M. Petukhova, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Medical Association, M.I. Durmanova, the President of the Association for the Support and Development of Pharmaceutical Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, V.N. Lokshin, the President of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in the Republic of Kazakhstan and B.A. Danilenko, the Director of Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition Company
In addition to viewing the exposition, A. Giniyat took part in the events of the business program, the content of which included 2 industry forums and 6 seminars from exhibitors.
The II International Pharmaceutical Forum “Global Pharm” was held in the hybrid format that is relevant today, the participants of which were A.Giniyat, the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, V.Yu. Dudnik, the Vice Minister of Healthcare, representatives of public medical organizations and communities, international pharmaceutical companies, domestic pharmaceutical enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries. The drivers of the forum were the Round Table, Strategic and Business sessions, after which the discussions moved to thematic sessions. A. Giniyat noted in her speech the importance of unprecedented changes affecting the dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry today and the need to quickly adapt to the key trends in the global pharmaceutical industry. The current situation of the Kazakhstani pharmaceutical market and investment markets in the country, as well as industry development prospects were discussed in the round table with the participation of A. Giniyat and representatives of foreign companies (Roche, Takeda, Johnson & Johnson and Abdi Ibrahim Global Pharm, Astra Zeneca, Novartis, Nobel, Polpharma and Bayer). The world players, in turn, gave expert advice. The strategic session of the forum was devoted to the current topic “State policy in the field of medicine circulation. Mechanisms for ensuring the stability of the pharmaceutical market and maintaining medicine availability”. The business session of the forum was devoted to the prospects for the development of the domestic pharmaceutical industry, and their barriers and challenges.
On October 27, on the second day of the exhibitions, the II International Forum on Medical Technology “MedTech” was held on a large scale. Also, the attention of the audience was attracted by the seminars of the exhibitors of the exhibitions - MedStandard, 103.kz and Longest Rehab School.
